Man interferes with officer, arrested

CYPRESS — On October 1, 2018 a deputy with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 14900 block of Carolina Falls Lane in reference to a disturbance.

Upon arriving the complainant reported that a male suspect was preventing her from leaving the scene by standing behind her vehicle.

The deputy approached the suspect who had a strong odor of marijuana on his breath and person, according to police reports. The male physically resisted the deputy’s attempts to investigate and detain him. The male was detained and identified as Rodrigo Gutierrez.

“Rodrigo Gutierrez was arrested and booked into Harris County Jail, charged with Interfering with Duties of a Public Servant,” said Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman. “His bond is set at $500.00 out of County Court 4.”
