Man killed crossing road near Jersey Village


JERSEY VILLAGE — The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has reported that a pedestrian died from an auto-pedestrian collision just east of Jersey Village this morning.

According to initial reports, the driver was coming around the turn under the Sam Houston Tollway underpass onto Philippine Street, while a man was attempting to cross the feeder road when he was struck.

Officials pronounced him dead at the scene.
