Man thrown from car in deadly Cypress wreck


CYPRESS — The Harris County Sheriff’s Office reported that a deadly car wreck occurred Sunday morning in the Cypress area.

According to the department, on June 30, 2019, at approximately 7:20 a.m. Darian Quiroga was traveling westbound in the 12200 block of Foxburo Drive in a 2016 Chevrolet Impala.

Deputies say the vehicle left the roadway, at a high rate of speed, and struck a concrete culvert/driveway.

Quiroga, who was thrown from the car, died at the scene as a result of injuries sustained.

The case remains open and under investigation by the Vehicular Crimes Division of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
