Moped driver dies in Louetta crash

CYPRESS — On Nov. 7, 2018, a white male was operating a moped style motorcycle westbound in the number two lane of the 10800 block of Louetta Road.

The moped was struck from behind by a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The operator of the moped was found with no signs of life at the scene of the crash. The Grand Cherokee fled the scene failing to stop and provide information or render aid. The vehicle was located a short distance from the scene.

The investigation into the occupants and driver is ongoing. This crash is being investigated by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division.
