Motorcyclist dies from injuries in wreck

TOMBALL — A motorcyclist died from injuries received from a wreck near the Grand Parkway yesterday (Aug. 25, 2018).

Terry Saltzman was operating his Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound in the 20000 block of Mueschke Road, yesterday at approximately 1:05 p.m.

Jorge Palacios-Villatoro was operating his white GMC Sierra pickup northbound directly in front of the complainant’s motorcycle. The GMC was towing a flatbed trailer which contained a Kubota Tractor. Palacios-Villatoro slowed down and turned left on Plaza 290 Boulevard.

The complainant failed to pass to the left safely where the front end of his motorcycle struck the front left side of the GMC.

The complainant became separated from his motorcycle and came to an uncontrolled rest on the northwest side of the intersection.

The complainant was transported to Memorial Hermann in the Texas Medical Center by Life Flight due to the injuries he sustained in this crash. The complainant was pronounced dead at the hospital at 1410 hours.

This case remains under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division.
