HARRIS COUNTY — A motorcyclist died from injuries received from a single-vehicle wreck in northwest Harris County on May 5, 2019.According to police reports, at approximately 1:35 a.m. the morning of May 5, Phillip Henson Jr. was traveling westbound in the left lane at the 10900 block of Spring Cypress Road on a black 1984 Harley-Davidson motorcycle not wearing a helmet.
According to the report, the road had a slight curve toward the right and the motorcyclist failed to drive in a single lane and struck the raised curb of a median and was separated from his motorcycle.
The report states that Henson was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital Medical Center by Life Flight. At 1:04 a.m., May 6, 2019, Henson died from injuries he sustained in this crash.
This case remains under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division.
