CYPRESS TEXAS — The Cypress Ranch High School softball team advanced past the regional quarterfinal round of the Class 6A playoffs and moves on to the Region II semifinals this week.

Cypress Ranch High School defeated Conroe Oak Ridge, 2-1, in extra innings. This marks the program’s second trip to the regional semifinals in three years and third appearance in the fourth round of the playoffs since 2015.

The Mustangs advance to face Wylie in a best-of-three series at the Waco ISD Sports Complex (1401 S. New Road):

  • Game 1 – 6:30 p.m. on May 15;
  • Game 2 – 6:30 p.m. on May 16; and
  • Game 3, if necessary – 6:30 p.m. on May 17.

Tickets will be sold at the gate for $5 for adults and $3 for students.
