CYPRESS — On Aug. 2, 2018, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman’s office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 10000 block of Huffmeister Road. When the deputy made contact with the occupants of the vehicle, the deputy could smell a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle.
Investigation by the deputy revealed that the occupants of the vehicle, Zachary Scott and Patricia Sorrentino, were in possession of 42.44 grams of methamphetamine, six doses of hydrocodone, and 0.308 ounces of marijuana that were located in a safe in the back seat of the vehicle. Deputies also seized $1,265.00 in currency inside the safe.
“Scott and Sorrentino were arrested, charged with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, and booked into the Harris County Jail,” the constable said in a press release. “Scott and Sorrentino’s bonds were set at no bond out of the 178th District Court.”
