Update: Precinct 5 Constable Ted Heap announced that Frank Roberts III has been arrested and is behind bars this evening.
According to police reports, Roberts was wanted on charges of child trafficking and sexual performance of a child. He is one of four men charged with child trafficking after a 16-year-old runaway was found in his Katy apartment in January. The other three were arrested earlier this month.
Precinct 5 released Roberts’ photo this morning. The precinct stated that a person who saw the photo on Facebook alerted deputies of his whereabouts and he was arrested in Washington County without incident.
“Constable Heap would like to thank all of you who assisted in finding Roberts,” according to the precinct. “We received a number of tips from present and past acquaintances that helped us locate and arrest this suspect. With that help, we have been able to remove this wanted criminal from the streets and bring him to justice.”

KATY — Deputies from Constable Ted Heap’s Office have arrested three men on child trafficking charges, and another, Frank Roberts III, is wanted in connection with the same case.
Editor’s note: While the Precinct 5 Constable’s Office is headquartered in the Katy area, officers provide law enforcement coverage for much of Cypress, namely south of Highway 290.
According to the Precinct 5 Constable’s office, Adrien Montrel Louis, 25, is charged with child trafficking. Coby Dewayne Daniels, 26, is charged with child trafficking and sexual assault of a child. Donavon Javonte Knight, 26, is charged with child trafficking.
Roberts, a Katy resident, is wanted on charges of child trafficking and sex performance by a child.
Roberts, 26, was initially arrested for sexual assault of a child in February, following an outcry from a 16-year-old runaway found in a Katy apartment. Roberts posted bond at the time, but new information uncovered in Precinct 5’s investigation led to charges of child trafficking against all four men.
If you recognize Roberts or have any information on his whereabouts, Constable Heap asks you to call Sgt. O. Martinez at 281-463-6666 or let his deputies know through the precinct’s online crime tips webpage: https://constablepct5.com/index.php/online-crime-tips
