According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, on Thursday, November 26, 2020, at approximately 4:57 a.m., deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 9-1-1 call of an unresponsive male lying in the roadway in the 13600 block of Wimbledon Oaks Dr. in northwest Harris County.
Upon arriving, deputies discovered the victim, an unidentified black male in his early twenties, lying in the roadway and unresponsive. EMS arrived on the scene and pronounced the male deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. Deputies spoke with a motorist who was on the way home from work when they saw the male lying in the roadway. Deputies conducted a search of a nearby residence and found the front door forced open. They found no other occupants in the residence.
Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Units were called to the scene to conduct the investigation. At this time there are no known suspects or motive for the shooting.
