Precinct 4 Constables arrest suspected drug dealer


HARRIS COUNTY — A deputy with Constable Mark Herman’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 6200 block of FM 1960 Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018.

The driver exited the vehicle and fled on foot, leading deputies on a brief chase.

A Constable Deputy utilized his department issued Taser and was able to stop and apprehend the suspect who was identified as Lee Collins, according to police reports.

Deputies located nearly 2.5 pounds of Marijuana, Ecstasy pills, a loaded firearm and a large amount of U.S Currency inside the vehicle, all of which was seized.

“Lee Collins was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana and Felon in Possession of a Firearm,” said Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman. “His bond and court information have not been set at this time.”
