CYPRESS — On May 30, 2019, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman’s Office observed a reported stolen vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence in the 13700 block of Pegasus Road. A white male was then spotted exiting the residence and getting into the stolen vehicle.
According to police reports, the Constable Deputy approached the vehicle and the suspect attempted to evade but was quickly detained and identified as Jason Bergara and was found to be in possession of 2.5 grams of Xanax, 10 grams of Black Tar Heroin, 55.1 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine, as well as numerous articles of drug paraphernalia and the key to the stolen vehicle.
The stolen vehicle was recovered and returned to the owner and all contraband was seized.
“Jason Bergara was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with 1st Degree Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Distribute,” said Herman. “His bond and court information have not been set at this time.”
