Precinct 4 deputies teach CFISD students about internet safety

CYPRESS — Officers with the Precinct 4 Constable High Tech Crimes Unit conducted an Internet Safety presentation to over 450 students at Hamilton Middle School in the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District, Oct. 15, 2018.

Topics covered by officers included internet predators, common pitfalls of social media use, cyberbullying prevention, and basic digital citizenship.

For over 10 years, Constable Herman’s High Tech Crimes Unit has partnered with area schools to present this important information to over 40,000 area school children and their parents and guardians.

Constable Herman’s Office provides these presentations free of charge to our community. If you are interested in hosting a presentation, please contact the High Tech Crimes Unit at 832-927-6158.
