CYPRESS — A Precinct 4 Constable’s Office deputy happened upon a local citizen and gave him a hand up Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018.
Cpl. Michael Pleytez ran across Ramsey Ward, who was unemployed and looking for a job, and also his vehicle broke down weeks ago in a parking lot in the 11100 block of Huffmeister.
Ramsey had been coming back daily trying to repair the vehicle himself with no success.
Pleytez arranged with Rivas Towing to have the vehicle taken to Cypress Auto Repair and paid for a new starter to be installed in the vehicle out of his own pocket to help him.
