Precinct 5 arrests accused murder suspect on robbery charge

CYPRESS — According to Precinct 5, deputies with Constable Ted Heap’s Office have arrested the fourth of four suspects wanted in connection with a recent carjacking in Cypress.

According to the precinct, Justin Archangel, 22, who was out on bond while awaiting trial on capital murder charges, was arrested on Thursday, October 3, in Northwest Houston on charges related to a carjacking and robbery last month.

Constable Heap’s deputies have been investigating the September 13 carjacking of a woman parked in her driveway in the 7800 block of Chatham Springs. Three juvenile suspects have already been arrested in connection with that crime.

The precinct stated that during the course of their investigation, Archangel was identified as the fourth suspect. He was located and arrested without incident Thursday afternoon in the 10600 block of Jones Road.

“People in Houston should be able to be safe in their own driveway,” said Constable Ted Heap. “Our deputies did a great job getting this wanted suspect in custody so that he can hopefully not be a threat to others.”
