KATY — The Precinct 5 headquarters had a packed house today as Constable Ted Heap welcomed five new deputies to the Precinct 5 family.
Deputies Chakia Bradford, Maria Ambriz, Kenneth Watkins Jr., Gilberto Garza and Josiah Smith were sworn in today with lots of friends and family on hand as they got their badges pinned on for the first time.
