CYPRESS — A young entrepreneur has scheduled a limited-time engagement lemonade stand in Cypress this week.
Moore Elementary student, Quinn, 7, is leading the way with help from her older brother, Nikolas, 11, to run a lemonade stand this Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.
“I was thinking of doing a lemonade stand to help a pet care center,” Quinn said about the no-kill Abandoned Animal Shelter in Magnolia. “I’m donating the money because I like cats and dogs. I like cats because they’re gentle, nice and playful. I like dogs because they’re cute!
“I want to do it during the summer, because people will be hot and want to buy lemonade.”
Quinn and Nikolas are planning to offer tasty, refreshing lemonade and colorful rice krispies treats.
Quinn and family have almost reached their $300 goal and won’t even open until tomorrow!
The lemonade stand is only scheduled to be open Wednesday, June 26, 2019 from 5 p.m. until dark, and Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 4 p.m. until dark. The stand will be located on the corner of Gardenglen and Cedar Point Drive in Cypress, which is near Moore Elementary.
