HARRIS COUNTY — HCSO Homicide investigators have arrested and charged 18-year-old Bobby Joe Turner for the capital murder of a local Cypress man.
He was arrested this evening by members of the HCSO Homicide unit, Violent Crime unit and the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders and Fugitive Task Force.
On Thursday, November 29, 2018, at approximately 11:30 a.m., Turner forced his way into a residence, located at 10811 Gates Randal Court in far west Harris County.
Turner shot and killed the 47-year-old homeowner, Leandro Morales Jr., after demanding money from the victim.
Robbery appeared to be the motive.
The investigation is still ongoing and investigators are diligently following all leads.
