Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church shooter found dead

Update: At 7:15 a.m. today, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the suspect from last night’s church murder was found dead in a hotel.

CYPRESS — Harris County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a shooting at the Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church at 11507 Huffmeister Road, Jan. 17, 2019.

Investigators sought Arthur Edigin, 62, in connection with the shooting outside of the Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church on Huffmeister. He’s 5’4”, 144 lbs. Driving a white ‘08 Suburban with a damaged right front quarter panel.

HCSO has confirmed that one woman is confirmed dead, another woman is wounded and in critical condition. According to a HCSO spokesman at the time, the wounded woman was in the operating room.
