Subtropical Storm Debby Forms, Not a Threat to Texas

The fourth named storm of the 2018 Atlantic hurricane season, Subtropical Storm Debby has formed over the north Atlantic. According to the U.S. National Hurricane Center, Debby poses no threat to land and is expected to dissipate in a few days.

Harris County Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management (HCOHSEM) reminds residents that hurricane season is underway and all those living along the Texas Gulf Coast should have a plan for tropical weather. Click here to get all-hazard preparedness information and sign up for alerts at www.readyharris.org.
