KATY — The Texans Embracing America’s Military group connected the gap between fresh recruits and experienced veterans for the sixth time Sunday afternoon at the Second Baptist Church in Katy.

The organization, led by Ralph Oliver, is designed to recognize and support the men and women that have decided to join and serve the U.S. Armed Forces.

New recruits:

Army: Angelo Castillo, Tyler Bush, Bao Nguyen, Jasmine Blackmon, Jacob Cummins, Elija Trujillo, Emily Bexley, Nicholas Dye, Gurguis Chehata, Tyler Paine, Juan Arevalo, Noah Duncan, Luciano Rosell, Benjamin Ethridge.

Air Force: Lucas Acuna, Nathan Brothers, Christopher Casada, Kevin Chachere, Jai Angelo Gallano, Akeem Hosten, Tanner Johnston, David Kempton, Edward Kim, Daniela Lopez, Thomas Oden, Trent Saanz, Dustyn Skorcz.

Marine Corps: Christian Giraldo, Ryan Durling, Kyle Bevil, Garrett McCart, Donald Ledoux, Issac Gamez, Enrique Benavides, Kassidy Rochette.

The Texas State Guard, American Legion Post 164 and Auxiliary, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9182 and Auxiliary, the city of Katy officials, along with local law enforcement and first responder agencies were represented at the event.
