Teen Shot With Paintball Gun Over Jordans

CYPRESS — Deputies from Constable Ted Heap’s Office are looking for four suspects who attempted to rob a teen of his new basketball shoes as he was walking home after school in the 19700 block of Rustic Lake Lane, this afternoon.

The suspects pulled alongside the 18-year-old student in an SUV a little after 3 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26, and demanded that the victim give them the Jordan basketball shoes he was wearing. When the victim refused, one of the suspects shot him in the arm with a paintball gun. The victim was not seriously injured.

The suspects are described as four black males in a dark blue SUV with yellow license plates.
