Traffic stop leads to arrest

CYPRESS — Precinct 4 Constable officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 14100 block of Cypress Rosehill Road, Sunday (Aug. 12, 2018).

As the suspect’s vehicle came to a stop, the driver exited her vehicle and attempted to walk away.

The suspect refused to comply with verbal commands given to her by officers and before she was able to flee, deputies quickly detained her. The suspect was identified as Aboni Peters.

“Aboni Peters was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with interfering with the duties of a public servant,” said Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman. “Her bond is set at $500 out of County Court 14.”
