Try out Pikmin 3 Deluxe with a free demo!

In the Pikmin™ 3 Deluxe game, you’ll grow a squad of adorable, plantlike Pikmin and use a combo of exploration and strategy to find food for your home planet. While this may seem like second nature to Pikmin fans, it’s perfectly normal for newcomers to have this reaction: Buh?

Luckily, there’s now a way to try it out! To get a feel for the game, please download the free demo and give it a whirl. You’ll be able to play Story Mode through the first boss, get a sample of Mission Mode, and experience local multiplayer with another person. Also, your demo save file will transfer over to the full version of the game if you decide to buy it, giving you a head start.

Longtime fan of the series? You may want to play the demo as well. And if you beat the boss in the demo, a few things will immediately unlock in the full version when you start playing it: 1) “Ultra-Spicy” difficulty (normally, this is unlocked by completing the “Hard” difficulty in Story mode) and 2) Mission Mode stages No. 6 through No. 10 of “Collect Treasure” and “Defeat Enemies” (normally unlocked by finishing Mission Mode stages No 1. to No. 5 of both).

You can download the demo or pre-order the game on the official game page today. The game comes out on October 30th.
