Waller FFA livestock judging team takes silver


Waller High School (WHS) FFA Livestock Judging team took second place at the Houston Livestock Show. The team competed against 207 other teams. Team members are Madison Fischer, Parker Wilson, Cayden Alexander, Dylan Arnold. They are led by Coach Ralph Stokley. The Livestock Judging Team also won second place at the Tarleton Invitational Career Development Event (CDE) Contest against 216 teams. The CDE team included Parker Wilson, Cayden Alexander, Dylan Arnold, Jordyn Dozier, and Kaelyn Dozier. WHS FFA Vet Science team also placed second out of 216 teams at the invitational. Team members were Madelyn Wawarofsky, Kirsten McBride, Grace Isaacks, Kaitlynn Keilers, and Kori Paliwoda.

 

“We are very proud of all the recent success of our Waller FFA Livestock Judging team as well as our other FFA CDE teams,” Career and Technical Education Coordinator Shelly Elizalde said. “Our kids can compete with anyone in the state of Texas, and we can’t wait to see how they do at Area and State this Spring. All of the hard work of the teachers and students is paying off!”
