Waller schools closed Friday, Feb. 4, 2022


WALLER — All Waller ISD schools and offices will be CLOSED Friday, Feb. 4 due to freezing conditions and possible ice on roadways in parts of the district. Temperatures are not expected to rise above freezing and melt any ice accumulation until midday. Please stay safe and warm off of roadways until temperatures warm above freezing. If you must travel, please do so with caution especially on bridges and overpasses.

WISD will resume regular schedules on Monday, Feb. 7. 

District officials are reviewing the Feb. 4 closure in accordance with state-required instructional minutes and the 2021-2022 school calendar. The calendar includes options for inclement weather make-up days that the district will consider. Any necessary make-up days will be communicated with families as soon as possible.
