CYPRESS — An after school pedestrian / vehicle incident has sent a Cypress-Fairbanks ISD student to an area hospital (Sept. 24, 2018).
According to other news outlets (https://abc13.com/cy-fair-isd-student-hit-by-car-near-campus-after-school/4329707/), the student was struck by a Texas state trooper’s vehicle during an attempted traffic stop.
“We have just learned of an auto pedestrian accident involving a Watkins Middle School student,” the school district said in a statement. “As a precautionary measure the student was transported to a Houston hospital for evaluation. At this time, we have no additional details.”
