CYPRESS — A Precinct 4 deputy with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 7700 block of FM 1960 in reference to a major accident, Oct. 2, 2018.
Upon arriving, deputies observed the female passenger in a vehicle sitting on the ground next to the crash, attempting to light a cigarette.
The deputy then removed the lighter from her hand and attempted to explain that she could not light a cigarette with all the combustible fluids leaking, due to the crash. The female became combative and began to kick and scratch the deputy.
The deputy was able to quickly gain control and detain the female, who was identified as Dusti Rodriguez.
“Dusti Rodriguez was arrested and booked into the Harris County jail, charged with Assault on a Public Servant,” said Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman. “Her bond is set at $150,000 out of the 180th District Court.”
