Wreck turns deadly as driver is ejected from F-150


CYPRESS — According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, “on Sunday, January 31, 2021, at or about 0638 hours the Complainant was operating a 2002 Ford F 150 northbound in the southbound lanes of Greenhouse Rd, in the 10600 block. The Complainant entered the intersection of Greenhouse Road and Cypress North Houston Road on a red signal light for north and southbound vehicle travel. The operator of a 2011 Dodge Ram was traveling eastbound through the 18300 block of Cypress North Houston Road. The Ram attempted to proceed through the intersection of Cypress North Houston Road and Greenhouse Road on a green signal light when it struck the Ford. After impact the vehicles proceeded to travel in a north direction before coming to their final rest position. Before coming to rest the Complainant was ejected from his vehicle. The Complainant died on scene from injuries sustained in this collision. The operator of the Ram sustained non-life threating injuries. This case remains under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division.”
